Are you reliable, friendly, and ready to make a real difference behind the scenes? We’re currently looking for a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team for summer cover. This vital role helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while supporting food service for children and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning across a variety of areas including sanitary facilities, windows, and furniture
• Floor maintenance using professional equipment (vacuum, buffers, scrubbers)
• Periodic duties such as curtain rehanging, carpet cleaning, and window washing
• Waste management and restocking of hygiene supplies
• Receiving and storing cleaning materials
• Food preparation and assistance with meal service
• Ensuring food safety procedures (storage, temperature control, hygiene)
• Securing buildings, including alarm systems if required
• Following policies and additional tasks as directed

Catering-Related Duties

• Support with plating and distributing food to clients and staff
• Replenishing supplies and maintaining food hygiene standards
• Full training provided if you do not currently hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

Essential Requirements

• Must attend the Trust’s Corporate Welcome Event
• Completion of both General and Departmental Inductions
• Willingness to gain a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (within 6 months of starting)
