Location: South & East Belfast Community Centres

Are you passionate about providing essential support services in a healthcare setting? We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Band 2 Support Services Assistants.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Perform cleaning duties as per work schedules or instructions.
2. Prepare, cook, re-heat, and serve food and beverages to required standards.
3. Maintain all necessary records.
4. Receive, sort, and launder items to required standards.
5. Dispose of waste in accordance with regulations.
6. Assist with patient transport and courier duties.
7. Strip and make unoccupied beds.
8. Lock doors and set alarms as required.
9. Maintain personal hygiene and appearance to a high standard.
10. Adhere to all Trust policies, procedures, and training requirements.
11. Provide support services in any part of the Trust to address staffing shortages as needed.

Note: Support Service Assistants in residential facilities will have substantial unsupervised access to individuals with learning disabilities. Vetting procedures will be carried out for candidates before appointments are made.
