Job Title: Support Services Assistant (Domestic, Catering)
Location: North and West Belfast
Salary: Band 2 – £12.21 per hour
Hours: Various hours

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Support Services Assistant to join our team at North and West Belfast Locations. The post holder will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning, catering, and laundry services within the facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out cleaning duties in all designated areas according to work schedules.
• Prepare, cook, reheat, and serve food and beverages to required standards.
• Maintain accurate records as required.
• Provide laundry services, including sorting, washing, and ironing items.
• Manage waste disposal in line with health and safety protocols.
• Perform patient transport and courier duties, including moving patients and handling collections such as blood samples and mail.
• Strip and make unoccupied beds as needed.
• Ensure security by locking doors and setting alarms.
• Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance at all times.
• Follow all organizational policies and procedures, participating in any required training.
• Assist in other support services areas to cover staff shortages when necessary.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in domestic cleaning or catering would be beneficial
• Candidates will undergo vetting procedures if appointed to work in facilities with children or individuals with learning disabilities.
