Domestic Service Assistant – Bangor
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Bangor
Duration: Up to 9 Months
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Rate of Pay: £12.05 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Service Assistant to join our team in Bangor. You will play a key role in maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards in a secure residential environment.
Main Duties:
- Perform general cleaning and domestic duties in all areas.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure adequate supplies of cleaning products, toiletries, and bedding items.
- Dispose of domestic rubbish or recycle it in appropriate bins.
- Provide assistance in the central laundry as required, ensuring an efficient and timely service.
- Report any damages, hazards, or maintenance issues (e.g., blocked toilets or sinks) to the internal maintenance team.
Essential Criteria:
- Qualifications: 2 GCSEs (Maths & English, graded A to C) or a Level 2 equivalent.
- Background Check: Successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced Access NI Check.
