We are looking for an operative to work within the operational team as a drainage contractor. You will be working for a company supporting the key staff in protecting the environment.

What we are looking for
You must be comfortable working in tough conditions, so we ask that applicants are physically fit.
You will be working with companies like Wessex water, providing hands-on support to emergency situations impacting the environment, such as flooding, blockage and drainage issues affecting, powerlines, and major transport routes.
You and your team will respond to various jobs across somerset, using a team of qualified engineers, to solve blockages from drains, pump water from the road, and clear away debris from storms and rubble from drains.
Ideal candidates will have a CSCS card, however this can be provided for you upon successful probatory period.
Salary is between £35-37k after temporary period.
Pay structure

• 07:00 – 17:00 (£12.50)
• 17:00 – 7am (1.5x)
• Saturday (1.5x)
• Sunday (x2)
