Job Title: Energy Regulatory and Compliance Manager

Salary: Up to £50k (DOE)

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a small Energy Supplier.
Understanding of the legal and regulatory framework affecting the electricity and gas market, from a supplier perspective.
Familiarity with electricity and gas business processes, including industry codes and agreements.
Proficiency in the business processes and IT systems of the electricity and gas market.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Self-motivated and adaptable with a willingness to learn.
Computer literacy including Excel, Word, and proficiency in both Mac and Windows OS.
Experience in both independent work and collaborative team environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and ensure compliance risks and controls within the business are effective.
Respond to industry body requests and support external audits.
Provide summarised updates on industry issues for senior management.
Identify, propose, and influence regulatory changes.
Develop documentation for tender submissions and additional policy requirements.
Assist in project support and ISO standard compliance.
Assess and address compliance issues and incidents.
Offer feedback to improve compliance performance.
Assist in developing compliance monitoring tools.
