We are currently recruiting for Administration Officer to join our High Public Sector team in Portadown
Start date: ASAP
Rate of pay: £13.75 per hour
Duration: Until 23/03/2026 possible extension
Location: BT62 3BZ
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with flexible working options by agreement with management.
Main Duties:
To provide high-quality administrative and case management support to the Inland Fisheries Enforcement Team, including the preparation of enforcement files for legal action, court proceedings, and prosecution. The role ensures that all enforcement documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant legislation, internal policies, and procedural requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
File Preparation & Case Management
Prepare, maintain, and update enforcement files for investigations, prosecutions, and other legal proceedings.
Gather and collate evidence, correspondence, witness statements, and exhibits in accordance with procedural and evidential standards.
Ensure all documentation meets disclosure and evidential requirements for prosecution.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records on internal systems.
Administrative Support
Draft routine correspondence, notices, and legal documents under supervision.
Liaise with internal teams, legal representatives, enforcement officers, and external agencies.
Attend case review meetings, and ensure all relevant parties are notified.
Manage deadlines to ensure timely submission of enforcement files and court bundles.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure all files comply with relevant legislation, codes of practice, and organisational policies.
Support audits and reviews of enforcement casework.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Team & Communication
Provide general administrative support to the enforcement teams.
Assist in developing and maintaining filing systems and standard templates.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes and procedures.
Essential Criteria applicants must have:
– 5 GCSE’s at grade C and above including Maths and English – Must see proof of those
– Must complete an Access NI
