Our Public Sector Client currently seeks a Full -Time Temporary ongoing Enquires & Complaince Support Officer to join their team on in Craigavon.

This is an ongoing temporary position, starting asap

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge in Microsoft office especially Excel

Hours of work Mon-Fri 9.00am- 5.00pm (37.5hours per week)

Rate of pay £14.93 per hour

Duties include:

The key purpose of this role is to support enquiries and compliance work. This post is designed to work flexibly, depending on workload, between the compliance and enquiry functions.

The main activities and key areas of responsibility of the post are:

1. Provide support and advice to charities on compliance with charity law.

2. Work across subject areas such as financial reporting requirements, fundraising, trustee issues, and general governance issues.

3. Prepare evidence and write reports on failures to comply.

4. Provide support to the Enquiry Manager on the ongoing conduct of investigations.

5. Undertake casework as part of internally or externally generated inquiries.

6. Assess the accounts and operation of charities under investigation.

7. Contribution to the provision of general advice and guidance materials.

8. Work with intermediary bodies in the charity sector to promote compliance with the law.

9. Comply with Data Protection, Freedom of Information and Commission (CCNI) requirements relating to documentation and record keeping.

10. Ability to work flexibly across teams and a range of areas.

11. Ability to manage own workload and work simultaneously on range of complex tasks.

12. Undertake other ad-hoc duties as may be reasonably required and requested by CCNI.

Essential Criteria: ( Must be clearly demonstrated on CV)

Qualification

  • GCE ‘A’ level passes in 2 separate subjects or equivalent, and 5 GCSE / GCE ‘O’ level grades A, B or C to include English and Maths.

Experience

2.1 Experience of investigative practice.

2.2 Demonstrable experience of analysis and problem solving.

2.3 Experience of the production of reports.

2.4 Experience of providing support and advice to customers.

2.5 Experience of the maintenance of comprehensive records and databases.

2.6 Experience of managing a portfolio of casework.

2.7 Experience of using evidence and analysing accounts to make judgements and take decisions.
