We are currently recruiting for an EO2 in Belfast. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork, ANI clearance has been completed.

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

Rate of pay: £15.83

Hours of work: 9 to 5; Monday to Friday Flexi time

Flexi time is available in this role

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining a high level of knowledge of the legislation and supporting administrative procedures governing the enforcement process.
• Review of administrative procedures to ensure operational improvement.
• Management of administrative and procedural enquiries from applicants, their legal representatives and other stakeholders.
• Undertaking mandatory management checks to ensure validity and accuracy of data.
• Providing information and data for weekly/monthly reports and governance documents.
• Effective financial and resource management including the approval of orders and invoices on Account NI, and ProcessIT
• Day to day management of casework investigation activities (encompass assurance, providing advice to team members on case progression) including embedding the case ownership process. all relevant actions e.g. work allocation and reallocation as require, prioritisation and quality
• Information gathering and analysis. Report on outcomes and manage collection and collation of routine management information.
• Managing Attendance and full range of Performance Management activities, against agreed targets, and including monthly feedback reviews, in-year and end year reporting etc
• Organising and participation at management meetings, at which updates on team performance may be discussed by taking minutes and follow-up actions.
• To ensure the incoming post is sorted and distributed within the Case Ownership Team on a daily basis, including complaints and queries;
• ensure all home working correspondence and support is provided to remote working staff and that cases are scanned and uploaded to the correct cases.
• To ensure email is monitored and to answerurgent e-mails and correspondence where the files have not been allocated.

Essential Criteria applicants must have:

Proof of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths grade C or above or the equivalent to this.

Proof of 2 A-levels or the equivalent to this.

Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven ability to use own initiative.
