We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our client, based in Stormont as an Eo2
Our client is Northern Ireland’s Leading Public Sector Employer.
Rate of pay: £17.94
Location: Stormont
Hours: 37 Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Start Date: ASAP
Job Duties:
• Management of the RFF mailbox and providing advice and guidance for DoH staff as required.
• Reviewing various reports on Account NI ensuring action is taken where necessary i.e.:
o Open POs,
o Credit balances
o System Accruals
o Invoices in dispute
o Contract compliance
o Potential duplicates
o Unmatched PO’s
o Invoices in process which are due for payment.
• Raise requisitions as required including CPD and mobile phones networks ensuring charges are accurate.
• Review suspense accounts and complete necessary journal transactions.
• Review and authorise Account NI forms as requested
• Upload journals as required.
• Manage Oracle licenses and DoH hierarchy.
• Monitor Process IT and reassign invoices to appropriate business area.
• Complete monthly RFF Notice to Staff.
• Publish Open Data Report monthly
• Upload HSC pension interface files to Account NI.
• Provide Account NI data to respond to FOI’s and AQ’s when necessary.
• Assist with audit requests relating to the production of the Departmental Resource Accounts.
• Assist with the National Fraud Initiative exercise
Cash Management
In addition to the RFF duties the postholder will be expected to perform the role of Checker for the daily cash draw as part of a rota.
The above duties are intended to indicate the broad range of responsibilities and requirements of the post. It is not an exhaustive list, and the post holder may be required to carry out other duties as directed by Financial Accounting Unit. according to business need
Essential Criteria applicants must have:
5 GCSEs including Maths & English (Or equivalent level 2) – Certificates required
ALevels
Must be IT Literate
Desirable Criteria
Experience of using financial systems advantageous
Should be comfortable with figure work
The successful applicant will be required to complete an Access NI during registration
