Role: Executive Officer
Pay: £13.81 per hour (Weekly Pay)
Location: Belfast City Centre
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 37 Hours per Week
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)
Start Date: Available ASAP
Job Description:
Are you a dynamic and organized professional looking for an exciting opportunity as an Executive Officer? We are seeking an individual to join our team in Belfast City Centre. In this role, you will play a vital part in our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Executive Officer, your role will involve a diverse range of tasks, including:
- Internal Communications: Assisting with the management of the internal communications process using the Intranet to publish articles and guidance for staff.
- Mailbox Coverage: Providing coverage for shared mailboxes, forwarding actions from the mailbox to the correct personnel using desk aids.
- Mailbox Administration: Managing generic mailboxes to categorize each message and marking them as cleared when dealt with or responded to.
- Communication Schedule: Managing the internal communications schedule.
- Content Creation: Sourcing and writing articles and features for the Intranet.
- Report Production: Managing the production of weekly blogs, web analytics reports, monthly newsletters, and other key departmental publications for staff.
- Business Partner Support: Assisting the SO business partner for various DfC services in translating needs into tangible objectives with key messages and timings.
- Stakeholder Relations: Building relationships with colleagues to understand, advise, and support them with their communication needs.
- Templates and Products: Preparing templates and communication products for distribution to staff and key stakeholders.
Desirable Criteria:
Experience in the effective use of Microsoft software, Drupal, and Adobe Acrobat Pro software would be considered desirable.
Essential Criteria:
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following essential criteria:
- Five GCSEs, including Maths and English or equivalent.
- 13 Months of relevant work experience related to the role.
- Two A-Levels or Level 3 equivalent.
- Successful completion of a Basic Access NI check.
