Location: Jordanstown
Duration: 9-12 Months
Hours of Work: 0830-1700 Mon – Thu. 0830-1630 Fri, 37 Hours per week
Rate of Pay: £13.81 Per Hour

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual to join our team as an Executive Officer based in Jordanstown. As an Executive Officer, you will work in support of the Deputy Principal and/or the Staff Officer, contributing to strategic objectives. This is a dynamic role with diverse responsibilities including data analysis, project support, records management, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keep up to date with issues relevant to the team’s work
  • Adhere to relevant policies, procedures, regulations, and legislation
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to progress team objectives
  • Assist in project implementation and monitoring
  • Provide advisory services to sports organizations on various topics
  • Ensure compliance with governance controls
  • Assist in reporting progress against operational plans
  • Analyze data to inform decision making
  • Prepare financial reports and management information
  • Develop appropriate record management procedures

Corporate Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage resources to align with business objectives
  • Undertake additional duties as required in pursuit of overall objectives
  • Maintain adherence to business areas values

Essential Criteria:

  • 5 GCSEs including Maths & English graded A to C or equivalent
  • 2 A-levels in separate subjects (evidence required)
  • 1 year full-time experience in coordinating and delivering business objectives
  • 1 year full-time experience managing competing priorities
  • 1 year full-time experience gathering, analyzing, and communicating information
  • Experience working to policies and procedures
  • Competent in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Databases)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work additional hours when required

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in project management methodologies
  • Experience in a sporting environment (e.g., club, governing body)
  • Experience in grant administration
  • Understanding of public sector accountability standards
