Executive Officer II – Front of House (Part-Time)

Location: Crossnacreevy
Hours: 14.8 hours per week
Working Days: Monday and Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Start Date: Immediate

About the Role

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and professional Executive Officer II – Front of House to join the Agronomy Plant Science Branch at Crossnacreevy. This role is ideal for an individual with strong customer service and administrative skills who enjoys working in a busy, customer-facing environment.

The successful candidate will provide a high-quality front-of-house service while supporting the wider team with a range of administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors, customers and stakeholders.
  • Provide a professional and welcoming front-of-house service.
  • Manage enquiries and direct visitors appropriately.
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties, including record keeping and data entry.
  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems.
  • Support the team with correspondence, scheduling and general office administration.
  • Use IT systems to input, retrieve and maintain information.
  • Ensure a consistently high standard of customer service is delivered.

Essential Criteria

Applicants must demonstrate:

  • A minimum of *2 GCSEs (Grade A–C)**, including English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent qualifications).
  • At least 2 years’ relevant experience in a customer-facing or front-of-house role delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Experience carrying out administrative duties, including record keeping.
  • Experience using IT systems and standard office software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
