The Recruitment Co are currently recruiting for a Fabricator / Welder to work for an established, growing business in the Fleetwood area.

Fabricator / Welder salary: £31,800

Fabricator / Welder hours: Monday – Friday between the hours of 7am – 6pm
(37.5 – 40 hours per week)

Fabricator / Welder Roles and responsibilities: Actively Learn all aspect of maintenance department

• Participate in, on the job training
• Attend all H&S and business-related course & briefings

New build fabrication

• Design and build new kit as required
• Modify existing kit

Breakdown and Repairs

• Welding repairs to machinery in workshop or in production areas
• New fabrication additions to existing machinery

New systems installation

• Work as part of the engineering team on new installation work
• Build new kit to assist in installations
• Modify kit as required

Administration

• Help with the preparation and implementing training for, Risk Assessments (RA),
• Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Preparing Method Statements for tasks and jobs in production areas

Fabricator / Welder Qualifications / Experience Required:

• Competent at welding
• Effective Communication Skills between all levels within the business
• Time Management – ability to work to set deadlines
• An understanding of health and safety requirements and implementation in the workplace.
• Ability to work as part of a team and confident / competent to work as an individual.
• Microsoft Office Skills (Excel & Word proficient), Outlook Express (Task and Diary management)
• Welding qualification
• Previously worked in a Food manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of food safety.
• Training towards or achieved CIEH Level 3 Awards in Food Safety
