The Recruitment Co are representing a successful Consultancy company looking for a Financial Accountant. The ideal candidate will be newly qualified(ACCA, ACA, CIMA) and ideally with an audit background to join their company for a full time permanent position.

Responsibilities:

• Co-leading with the Management Accountants on the 3 annual audits and dealing with the queries relating to these
• Consolidation of 2 group accounts including profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow statements
• Ratio and Breakeven analysis
• Preparing various reporting and regulatory information to a wide range of external stakeholders such as ONS, Auditors and Companies House.
• Assist in the automation of financial processes to speed up decision making

Requirements:

• Newly qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) , ideally with an audit background
• A strong working level of IT literacy including Microsoft office package, namely – MS Excel
• Previous experience on accounting packages would be required
• Excellent communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with the finance team and other departments.
• Proven experience of double entry system interfaces and familiarity with profit and loss and balance sheet accounts.
• Methodical, autonomous and diligent approach with discipline of working to tight deadlines within a team environment
• Demonstrable experience of working on internal and external audits
• Strong attention to detail and service ethos

Salary: £32,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
