Our client, based in Blackpool FY3, is recruiting for Fire Alarm Engineers, due to business growth.

Fire Alarm Engineer hours – 8.30am – 5pm

Fire Alarm Engineer salary – £28 – 32k

Fire Alarm Engineer benefits:

Excellent earning potential with call out standby fee and overtime available.

Travel paid minus 30 mins each way.

The majority of the work is in the FY and PR postcode areas.

As a Fire service engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Servicing a wide range of fire alarm systems.
• Accurately completing all customer log books and certification for serviced alarms.
• Good communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• Maintaining your vehicle’s stock levels.
• Participating in the on-call rota.
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and handed in, in a timely manner.
• Maintaining customer relations and a high level of customer service at all times.

As a Fire service engineer you will:

• Have a sound understanding of BS5839.
• Have experience of a wide range of fire systems and panels.
• Have attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
• Be reliable and presentable at all times.
• Have great reporting and communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• Need some flexibility to support client needs.
