About the Role

The Recruitment Co. is currently recruiting an experienced Forklift Driver to join Camden Group at their Greystone Site in Antrim.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy manufacturing environment within the construction supply industry. The successful candidate will play an important role in the safe movement, loading and handling of materials across the site.

As part of the role, you will be required to operate a telehandler and will also be responsible for the loading and operation of a hammer mill used to shred recycled uPVC products.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, telehandlers and other material-handling equipment
• Load and unload materials and deliveries safely and efficiently
• Load and operate the hammer mill for the shredding of recycled uPVC products
• Transport materials between production, yard and storage areas
• Ensure materials and stock are handled and stored correctly
• Carry out routine equipment checks and report any defects or faults
• Support production, warehouse and yard operations as required
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Follow all site health, safety and environmental procedures
• Comply with company policies and safe working practices
• Assist with general yard and warehouse duties when required

Essential Criteria

Applicants should have:

• A valid forklift licence
• Experience operating a telehandler
• Previous experience within a warehouse, yard, logistics or manufacturing environment
• A strong commitment to health and safety
• Good attention to detail
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• A reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work

Desirable Criteria

• Previous experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of warehouse and stock control processes
• Experience using warehouse or inventory management systems
