This role is with one of the UK’s most successful third-party freight booking and customs clearance agents and are part of the Star Cargo Group. We are currently looking to appoint a German speaking candidate to join our Ferry Booking Department, on a full time, permanent basis.

Working in a team of five, reporting to the Department Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a small section of our English and German speaking client base while looking for opportunities to develop and expand the services we are providing to those customers. You will have the opportunity to utilise both languages on a daily basis.

To fulfil this role, we require a candidate who is proficient in German, has a solid customer service background, is numerate and possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages, good computer literacy and experience of Microsoft applications including Word and Excel.

Working Monday to Friday, working 8am to 5pm three weeks from four and 9am to 6pm on the fourth week, with one Saturday morning in six, 9am to midday, and one UK Bank Holiday per year 9am to midday.
