Are you passionate about creating safe, healthy workplaces and ready to take your expertise to the next level? We are seeking a dynamic Health and Safety Manager to lead the development and delivery of high-quality health, safety, and fire management across our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice, guidance, and training on health, safety, and fire matters at all staff levels
• Design and deliver training programmes that foster safety awareness and compliance
• Develop, implement, and review policies and guidance aligned with current legislation and best practice
• Ensure timely reporting and investigation of RIDDOR incidents and liaise with HSENI as required
• Conduct inspections and audits, working closely with managers and staff representatives
• Oversee the efficient use of resources and advise on budgetary needs
• Support the Health and Safety Manager in departmental leadership and deputise as needed

Essential Criteria

• Degree or recognised professional qualification in Occupational Health and Safety ➤ With at least 2 years’ experience in a middle management role in health, safety, and fireOR
• HNC/HND or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety ➤ With at least 3 years’ experience in a middle management role in health, safety, and fire
• Proven experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience designing and delivering training within the last 3 years
• Strong background in developing policies and reports
• Must hold a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle
