The Recruitment Co. is urgently recruiting for HGV Technician to join our clients team based in the Clydach, Swansea area.

Rate of pay: £30,000 with a 12 month probation period, rising to £36,000 dependent on experience.

Hours of work: Mon – Thurs 8am-4pm and Fri 8am-3pm.

Contract: Permanent

Job Summary:

Manage the repair/maintenance and servicing of heavy and light goods vehicles to ensure the fleet remains operational.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, present and accompany all vehicles for annual MOT inspections.
  • Carry out periodic safety inspections to all vehicles to VOSA inspection manual standards
  • Conduct diagnostic tests on complex hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems on vehicles within the fleet.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle
  • At least 4 years experience working on HGV’s
