Our public sector client seeks a Temporary Ongoing Higher Clerical Officer based in Craigavon
Hours of work Mon-Friday 9-5 (37.5 hours per week)
Rate of pay £11.67 per hour
The post holder will be responsible for the scheduling of Urology patients throughout the Trust in accordance with clinically agreed scheduling criteria.

• Responsible for the scheduling of admission dates, either by post or telephone, arranging patients’ admission to hospital for Urology procedures from Trust waiting list information.

• Follow protocol and procedures to ensure the smooth administrative management of patients. This will require close liaison with consultants, specialist nurses, nursing staff, secretarial staff, medical records, cancer
  trackers and other relevant staff across the Trust.

• Prioritise workload in accordance with expected outcomes.

• Maintain effective communications in writing, by telephone or in person with patients and Trust staff at all levels.

Essential Criteria

4 GCSEs at Grades A-C including English Language or equivalent / higher qualification AND 1 years’ experience in a clerical / administrative role
OR
2 years’ experience in a clerical / administrative role.
