We are currently recruiting a HR Advisor for Equality Diversity and Inclusion to join our client in Lisburn

 
Monday – Friday 36.25 hours
£18.43 per hour
6 months initially
Immediate starts
Job duties include:
Supporting the HR Manager, EDI to ensure the effective promotion and mainstreaming of equality within our client
Focusing on equality profiling and reporting, training and the provision of advice and guidance on fair employment and anti-discrimination legislation and the statutory equality duties under
Support the HR Manager (EDI) to ensure the successful delivery of any EDI activity assigned in accordance with the clients Equality Scheme, Equality Strategy, relevant legislation and good practice
To analyse the People & Culture Plan and Annual Business Plans in anticipation
of organisational equality screening requirements and to support and guide line
managers with respect to equality screening
To provide an advisory service to Directors, managers and employees regarding
a range of equality matters including the legislative context, policy development,
screening, consultation etc
To prepare business cases, tenders and quotations in line with financial and
procurement regulations, policies and procedures and corporate timescales
To maintain an up-to-date knowledge of organisational policies and procedures
impacting on HR activity at both a corporate and local level.
Other HR Advisor duties as required
Essential Criteria includes:
Hold a minimum of a Level 5 qualification* or above; and
 Have current membership of the Chartered
Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD); and
 Have at least two years’ experience working in
EDI, either as primary duties or as part of a Human

Resources role within a large, multi-site, multi- disciplinary organisation. OR Have at least four years’ experience working in EDI, either as primary duties or as part of a Human

Resources role within a large, multi-site, multi- disciplinary organisation; and

 Hold or are working towards current membership
of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and
Development (CIPD).
