Are you an experienced within a HR coordinator role? Do you want to work for a successful business based in the heart of Manchester City Centre? The Recruitment Co. are recruiting for one of our key clients in Manchester and this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Job Responsibilities:
Administrative support:
- Recruitment (post offer) of experienced and trainee hires
- Co-ordination of work experience
- Answering of people process/policy queries
- Maintenance of people records/HRIS data
- On-boarding and induction of new starters
- Right to work and other pre-employment checks
- Probation/performance check ins
- Supporting the annual appraisal process and annual practising certificate renewal
- Processing of leavers
- Processing of reference requests, changes to T&Cs and promotions
- Provision of monthly information to support running of payroll
- Co-ordination reward and recognition.
- The annual renewal and ongoing management and coordination of benefits (such as private medical insurance, travel insurance, income protection, pension scheme and life assurance)
- Arranging the annual flu vaccination programme
- The provision of gifts and awards for key life events and long service etc.
- Supporting the HR Manager and Head of L&D with the co-ordination and administration of regular and ad hoc learning activities e.g. allocation of mandatory training modules on the firm’s Learning Management System and tracking of completion via reports and escalation.
- Proven track record in delivering effective HR operational administration over the course of the full employee life cycle from on-boarding to off boarding and everything in between
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team with a willingness to learn and share learning with others and a positive, pragmatic, solution focused approach
- Administration skills – strong admin skills, highly competent in using business software such as Microsoft Office with a high level of attention to detail
- Coordination skills – ability to plan and effectively deliver on regular, annual and ad hoc tasks and activities
- Organisational skills – personal efficiency, time management skills and the ability to flex, adapt and prioritise competing demands
- Communication skills – excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills, both written and verbal, acting as an ambassador and role model
- Teamwork – proactive team player who understands the importance of communicating with their team to help manage workflow efficiently and effectively
- Professional integrity – able to work with data, individuals and managers on confidential people matters discreetly
- A working knowledge of the fundamentals of people management and employment law to help the department to deliver an excellent service and effectively manage risk
