Our client seeks a HR Executive Officer for their Learning & Development Team based in Portadown. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of organising staff learning & development initiatives, training courses and administer E Learning resources.
This position is a temporary ongoing position.
Hour of work Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
Rate of pay £13.29 per hour
Duties include but not limited to:
- Prepare and collate documentation to support the Learning and Development
function to include liaising with internal and external customers and stakeholders, booking of training events, scheduling of attendees, preparation of learning materials and packs for training programmes, interventions, workshops and events.
- Set up and maintain appropriate electronic event booking and filing systems for all learning and development interventions to ensure a digital approach to co- ordination and records management of workstreams.
- Monitor and receipt of all Customer Feedback correspondence, acknowledge receipt of and refer to relevant manager for appropriate follow up action and respond to any queries.
- Provide advice, support and guidance to managers and staff on all aspects of terms and conditions of employment ensuring that agreements, entitlements, benefits, schemes, pension, etc. are fairly and consistently applied and communicated.
- Carry out duties in line with Libraries NI policy and procedures and support the
implementation of HR policies, procedures and processes throughout the service.
Essential Criteria:
Qualifications and Experience
- Hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or two GCE A Levels, or BTEC National or
equivalent/higher qualifications AND a minimum of two years’ experience working in
an office environment carrying out a range of administrative duties
OR
A minimum of four years’ experience working in an office environment carrying out a
range of administrative duties
OR
A minimum of two years’ experience working in an HR department carrying out a
range of HR related administrative duties.
- Experience of working with internal and external partners/stakeholders to support
service provision.
- Experience of working effectively within a team environment to meet organisational
goals/objectives.
- Experience of the analysis of data and report writing to support management
information.
- Working knowledge of utilising IT systems and standard software e.g. Microsoft
Word, Excel and PowerPoint to manipulate and present information.
