Job Title: HR Manager UK & Scandinavia
Location: Bridgwater
Salary: Competitive salary
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm Friday 8:30am-2pm

We have an incredible opportunity to work with our well established client in Bridgwater who are currently looking for a HR Manager UK & Scandinavia to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role is responsible for executing Human Resources and organisational activities covering personnel support and management support.

Responsibilities:

  • Personnel Administration:
  • Administer new employee processes: ADP data entry, setup communication, announcement drafting and new hire details for EMEIA HQ.
  • Manage holiday calendars, staff absence, and sickness records.
  • Monitor employee absences and ensure return-to-work forms are completed.
  • Process and file holiday entitlements.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Manage UK recruitment processes: create JD’s, benchmark checks, draft offers, Right to Work checks, temp payroll confirmations, and fee negotiations.
  • Induct new employees.
  • Liaise with external recruitment parties.
  • Communication and Coordination:
  • Manage international communications: emails and noticeboard postings.
  • Organise annual staff handbook updates with external HR advisor and distribute.
  • Gather and process salary review proposals.

Employee Relations:

  • Liaise with external HR advisor for advice.
  • Address personnel issues, queries, and problems for employees and support line managers.

Payroll and Data Management:

  • Inform payroll of changes before monthly processing.
  • Update our ERP system D3FO with new starters and leavers.
  • Performance Management: notify and follow up with managers on probations and performance reviews.
  • Training and Development organise and record training activities and maintain a training matrix.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Maintain and update personnel files and document archives.
  • Connect with external HR advisor for employment legislation advice.
  • Other Responsibilities also include the execution of some general office management duties restricted to the co-ordination of employee travel arrangements and the organization of significant staff events such as Christmas functions, retirement celebrations, etc.

Requirements:

  • Must have Bachelor’s degree combined with 5+ years of HR experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with collaborative working abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
  • Confidentiality and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and communicate with Scandinavian locations.
