We are currently recruiting a Human Resources Competition Lead for our client based in Belfast City Centre. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.

Start date: ASAP

Rate of pay: £17.43 per hour

Hours of work: 37 Full time 9 – 5pm Mon to Fri (flexible working available)

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will report to a Staff Officer within the Team.

NICSHR Resourcing Division is responsible for delivering operational resourcing services in collaboration with service delivery partner, HRConnect. The individual will be responsible for co-ordinating activities in relation to planning and running competitions to fill vacancies and, where appropriate, create further supply of suitable candidates to fill any future vacancies that may arise during the life of the competition.

The main duties of the post are as follows:
Effectively manage a caseload of competitions through the recruitment process following design to first round allocations.
Keep relevant trackers up-to-date with progress of competitions.
Ensure tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner, including the provision of management information.
Ensure relevant, timely and appropriate resourcing stakeholder engagement, including HRBusiness Partners/Trade Union Side/HRConnect, whilst providing a quality customer service
Work with colleagues to implement service improvements in operational processes to support the ongoing separation of demand and supply activities
Support work to develop and strengthen the recruitment team and processes
Contribute to response to FoIs, SARs, correspondence cases etc.
Ad-hoc duties that may include managing generic mailboxes by responding/redirecting queries, maintaining Competition tracker (daily consolidation, logging referrals, adding new staff names/new grade codes/new drop downs etc), managing competition finance requests.

Essential Criteria applicants must have:

2 A levels

A minimum of 18 months’ experience in co-ordinating activities in relation to planning and running recruitment competitions to fill vacancies.

Proficiency in the use of IT and all MS Office products; particularly Word and Excel.

Desired Criteria:

CIPD Level 3

 

A criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.
