ICT Service Desk Support Analyst

Salary: £14.06 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Ballymoney
Working pattern: Full-time, fixed working pattern

Our client is seeking an ICT Service Desk Support Analyst to join their ICT team. This role will provide first-line technical support, helping to log, manage and resolve ICT incidents and service requests in line with agreed procedures, priorities and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide first-line ICT service desk support, including logging, progressing and resolving incidents and service requests.

· Escalate issues to relevant support teams or third-party providers where required.

· Follow agreed protocols, procedures and service level agreements to ensure timely resolution of requests.

· Assist with the installation and support of ICT hardware, software and related equipment.

· Maintain accurate service desk records and support departmental documentation.

· Comply with data security, confidentiality, information governance and relevant ICT policies.

· Liaise with internal teams, external suppliers and service providers to support effective service delivery.

· Keep up to date with developments in ICT and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Essential Criteria

· HND or relevant professional qualification in an ICT discipline, plus at least 6 months’ experience in an ICT-related technical role; or at least 1 year’s experience in an ICT-related technical role.

· ITIL Foundation certificate, or the ability to demonstrate knowledge of ITIL principles and willingness to obtain certification within 6 months of appointment.

· Knowledge of ICT hardware, software and service delivery best practice, such as ITIL or ISO 20000.

· Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel and Word.

· Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload and work effectively as part of a team.

· Full current driving licence valid for use in the UK and access to a car, or access to suitable transport where required.
