Our client, A Large public sector organisation, based in Lisburn is looking for an Intelligence officer to join their team.
Duration: March 2026 with possible extension
Rate of pay: £15.97
Location: Lisburn
Hours: 37 hours per week
Start date: ASAP
Main Duties:
- Collect, evaluate and assess intelligence, data and information gathered from multiple sources, both sensitive and non-sensitive.
- Carry out tactical intelligence development on tasked operations, using appropriate tools, techniques and systems.
- Produce, present and disseminate appropriate and relevant tactical intelligence outputs to inform decision making.
- Deliver briefings and presentations, making recommendations to support the decision making and risk management process.
- Ensure appropriate and secure handling and dissemination of sensitive and non-sensitive material in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
- Conduct complex and wide ranging intelligence developments within a tactical/operational environment, in support of the Northern Ireland Environment Agencies priorities in the fight to tackle Environmental Crime.
Essential Criteria:
- 5 GCSEs A-C (Must include Maths and English)
- Experience gained from performing Intelligence Officer functions either previously or currently
Desired:
- IPP Intelligence Officer certification
or
Non-certificated IPP Intelligence Officer currently working towards this certificate as a substantive officer in an IPP aligned role.
