Land Based Supply Lecturer – GREENMOUNT.

Lecturer on the FdSc / BSc Sustainable Agriculture Programmes

Pay Rate: £21.35 per hour

Location: Antrim, Greenmount

Start Date: 10^th August 2026 (or ASAP)

Expected Duration: 4^th October 2026 with possibility of extension

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm. (37 hour week) The post will also require the successful applicant to have access to a form of transport which will permit them to meet the travel requirements of the vacancy in full.

Requirements: 5 GCSE’S C and Above (Including Maths and English), 2 A Levels C and Above, 2:1 in BSc in Agriculture or a closely related subject. Previous experience of delivering education courses and assessing student learning would be beneficial.

Main Duties include:            

• Support the delivery and assessment of the full-time undergraduate courses.
• Monitoring student attendance.
• Assist in the supervision of BSc degree projects.
• Tutor students and provide pastoral care where necessary.
• Attend education team meetings.
• Any other duties in line with the business needs of CAFRE and DAERA.
