LECTURER.

We are currently recruiting for Agriculture Lecturer based in Greenmount Campbus. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 11 months

Hours of work: Full time 9 to 5

Rate of pay: £18.62 ph – paid weekly

Key Responsibilities:

• To plan and deliver to students enrolled in Level 2,3 and 4 Agriculture courses on a range of topics including but not limited to livestock production, Grassland management, Health and Safety and business management.
• To set and mark student assessments, providing feedback  and monitoring student progress on the course;
• To tutor student groups and individual students
• To ensure compliance with CAFRE and Awarding body quality assurance systems;
• To attend teaching team meetings

Essential Criteria applicants must have:

• The applicant must possess an Honours Degree in Agriculture or related discipline.
• To deliver on these courses staff must be technically knowledgeable in the areas above.

• Five GCSE/GCE passes (at A, B or C) with Maths and English.
• ( Proof of certs required )
