We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our client, based in Cookstown as a full-time Lecturer in the MSc in Strategic Leadership for Agri-Food programme

Administrator Pay Rate: £21.35 per hour

Start Date: 10th August

Hours of Work: 

  • Approximately 22 hours per week unless otherwise agreed.
  • Part-time Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9 am to 5 pm.
    The vacancy will require work outside normal office hours, including evenings and weekends. The post will also require the successful applicant to have access to a form of transport which will permit them to meet the travel requirements of the vacancy in full.

Job Duties: 

  • Support the delivery and assessment of the full-time postgraduate courses.
  • Support the delivery and assessment of the part-time evening postgraduate courses.
  • Monitoring student attendance.
  • Assist in the supervision of MSc degree projects.
  • Tutor students and provide pastoral care where necessary.
  • Attend education team meetings.
  • Any other duties in line with the business needs of CAFRE and DAERA.

Essential Criteria: 

  • The applicant must possess a postgraduate qualification at Master’s degree level or above in an agri-food or related discipline such as business/management.
  • Applicants with a postgraduate diploma and appropriate experience will also be considered.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience of delivering education courses and assessing student learning would be beneficial

An Access NI will be required for this role
