Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Wellington (Somerset)
Hours: 2 shifts available DAYS rotating shifts Monday to Friday 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm OR Nights Sunday to Thursday 10pm-6am

Day Shift Pay Rates:

• Monday – Friday £11.91 Monday to Friday
• Over 37.5 hours will be £17.87 per hour
• Sundays £23.82 per hour

Night Shift Pay Rates:

• Sunday – Thursday £13.10 per hour
• Over 37.5 hours will be £19.65 per hour
• Saturdays £26.20 per hour

Our very well established client in Wellington are currently looking for Machine Operators to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.

As a Machine Operator at Wellington you will be responsible for setting up and operating our state of the art machinery. As a Production Operative, duties will include: Demonstrate competence in timely machine setup, minimising down time and maximising efficiencies by working effectively as part of a team.

They have a structured career pathway to give our employees the opportunity to develop their knowledge on different types of machinery, becoming multi-skilled within the production area. Hourly pay will increase up to £16.97 per hour (dependent on shift) once completely multi-skilled.

As a Machine Operator duties will include:

• Demonstrate competence in timely machine setup, minimising down time and maximising efficiencies by working effectively as part of a team.
• Produce work of a high standard by adhering to quality standards to ensure that product is produced to agreed specifications.
• Maintain a good working relationship with colleagues to promote successful teamwork.
