Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for experienced Machine Operators in Leigh

Location: Leigh, WN7

Shift:

Monday- Friday

Weekly rotating shift pattern: 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm

Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour, 40 hours a week

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience as a machine operator

  • Knowledge of production procedures

  • Problem solving

  • Decision making

  • Concentration

  • Attention to detail

  • Teamwork

  • Able to follow instructions and production schedules

  • Physical stamina and strength

Main duties are:

  • Grinding machine operation (full training given)

  • Manual handling (up to 25kg bags)

  • Forklift licence is beneficial but they will train people in house

  • Loading and unloading trucks, lifting pallets onto platform & general warehousing duties)

  • General housekeeping

  • Safe working practices

  • First aid training provided
