The Recruitment Co. is urgently recruiting for several Machine Operators/ Technicians to join our clients team based in the Port Talbot area.

Salary: £35k for Operators £38k for Technicians (Inc Shift Allowance)

Hours of work: Full time / Continental 4 Shift Pattern(323): works out at an average of 42 hours per week over the year/ Mixture of day and night shifts: Days: 06:00 – 18:00, Nights: 18:00 – 06:00

Contract: Temp to Perm after 12 weeks

We are looking for machine operators/ technicians to join our client’s well established team working on production lines and operating machinery.

Responsibilities:-

• Set-up and operate manual and automatic machinery on a daily basis

• Recording of productivity, waste and quality data

• Carryout visual attributes and physical dimensions inspection of the product to maintain quality

• Perform machine maintenance and breakdowns

• Participate in quality and productivity improvements activities

• Undertake general housekeeping including cleaning machines, sweeping up etc.

• Adhere to health & safety and company policies and procedures

Experience required:-

• Previous Manufacturing experience

• Engineering skills / mechanically minded

• Good communication skills

• Be able to work both unsupervised and as part of a team

• Hands on approach and self motivated

• Quality and customer focused

• Attention to Detail
