£34995.56 per annum
39 hour week, Full time, Permanent
OT available, On Call available

Full UK driving Licence Required

Building services maintenance engineer required to join a large maintenance team based on one site in Cranfield. The Right candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience within building services

Role responsibilities

• Maintenance, inspection & repair of plant in accordance with the maintenance regime including scheduling
• Ensuring machinery & equipment meets safety regulations
• Supporting in the event of breakdowns, failures and malfunctions of equipment & machinery
• Repairing and replacing broken components
• Documenting maintenance activities
• Checking daily building systems for any alarms and rectify if required
• Maintain and monitor HVAC systems to ensure continued temperature delivery
• Carry out weekly site walks to identify any required maintenance
• Respond to logged faults of machinery by the site
• Ensure spares and materials on site for required repairs

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Good understanding of electrical plumbing and HVAC systems
• Proven background in building and facilities maintenance
• Experience of planned and preventable maintenance
• Strong mechanical and electrical skill set ideally within mechanical engineering
• city & guilds or BTEC or equivalent in mechanical engineering
• Experience in fault finding
• Full UK driving licence
