We Are Hiring – Materials Services Officer
Location: Dundonald
Hours: 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday
Start : Wednesday 18th March,
Position is for 1 month initially with possible extension
Rate of Pay: £12.51 per hour
Position Type: Temporary, Immediate Start
We are seeking a Materials Services Officer to support hospital operations by ordering, delivering, and managing essential stock through the Electronic Materials Management (EMM) system.
Key Responsibilities:
• Scanning and recording stock levels
• Ordering, delivering, and putting away goods
• Rotating stock and managing waste packaging
• Receiving deliveries and issuing goods
• Using barcode scanners and EMM systems
• Liaising with ward and departmental staff regarding stock usage
• Performing general stores duties and maintaining good housekeeping
Essential Criteria:
• Relevant procurement or logistics experience
OR
• GCSEs in Maths and English (grades A–C or equivalent) plus one year of relevant experience
• Full UK driving licence (or approved alternative in line with disability provisions)
