Location: Market Drayton Hourly Rate: £38 – £40 per hour (Dependent on Experience) Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (12-hour shifts) Contract Type: Ongoing Contract (Minimum 6 months)

We are a leading recruitment agency partnering with a market leader in manufacturing, and we have multiple openings for Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join their team in Market Drayton. Key Role Responsibilities: As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all plant, processes, and assets within a fast-paced Food and Drink manufacturing environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and improving plant, processes, and assets to meet safety and efficiency standards.
- Executing day-to-day maintenance and improvement tasks on plant, assets, and services.
- Adhering to food and health & safety standards while performing all maintenance work.
- Completing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks and driving enhanced maintenance practices.
- Swiftly diagnosing and rectifying equipment faults to uphold the Engineering Request System.
- Actively promoting and championing health and safety initiatives.
- Conducting fault diagnosis, testing, and repairing of Mechanical and Electrical equipment.
- Identifying and reporting machinery or component defects, and providing comprehensive CMMS data.
- Collaborating with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and suppliers for technical support and parts procurement.
What We Are Looking For: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:
- Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within a complex, high-speed manufacturing or logistics setting.
- Proficiency in both mechanical and electrical engineering within Manufacturing, Production, and Process environments.
- HNC or apprenticeship training complemented by hands-on experience with machinery, pumps, valves, and PLCs.
- Desirable experience in a similar Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) role.
- Sound knowledge of filling and process technology.
- Demonstrable expertise in managing complex, high-speed clean environments with short product lifecycles (24/7 operations).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and adeptness in root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in preventative maintenance techniques.
- Effective communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- A talent for team building and fostering positive working relationships.
