Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately read and record electricity meters in residential and commercial properties.
  • Ensure timely and efficient collection of meter data.
  • Report any issues or irregularities observed during meter readings.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address any queries from customers.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties.
  • Utilize handheld devices to record and transmit meter readings.

Essential Criteria:

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical ability to walk long distances and work in various weather conditions.
  • A current UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous experience in meter reading or a similar role.
  • Basic understanding of electricity meters and related equipment.
