The Recruitment Co are recruiting for MIG Welders for a leading steel fabrication company based in Openshaw, Manchester. Duties include MIG welding mild steel, which can be anything from 1.2mm up to 30mm plate. The shifts are either 6am – 4pm, or 4pm – 2am, Monday – Thursday The pay rate starts at £13.47 per hour, however this increases to £14.47 once you are permanent. Overtime is paid at: OT1 = 1^st 9.5hrs @ 25% of basic rate OT2 = the next 9.5hrs @ 50% of basic rate OT3 = everything thereafter @ 100% of basic rate There are x2 20 minute breaks in each shift, of which 30 minutes is unpaid, and 10 minutes is paid.
