Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for a Nightshift Machine Operator for our client based in Kirriemuir to start immediately

Pay rate: £14.83 Per Hour

Location: Kirriemuir

Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 10pm-6am

Contract: Ongoing Temporary (Permanent Opportunities for the right candidate)

Day in the life of a Machine Operator:

• Machine Operating
• Carrying out general day-to-day care, calibration and maintenance of machines
• Follow all health and safety standards and be proactive in improving health and safety awareness.
• Report any issues with fabric quality to Quality Control.
• Monitor coating quality and report any issues found, advise and assist with corrective actions where required.
• Make sure the machine is operating correctly to produce the required end product
• Ensure daily machine maintenance tasks are completed.
• Help and support with controls modifications and general improvements to fabric processing.
• Ensure machine areas and storage areas are kept clean and tidy.
• Complete paperwork accurately and ensure it is kept up to date.
• Manage personal time keeping and report any issues that affect your ability to work.
• Contribute to recycling and waste minimisation
• Maintain good general housekeeping.

What we are looking for:

• Ability to work on own initiative
• Minimum two years Machine Operating Experience
• Good communication skills
• Hardworking and conscientious
• Ability to work to a high standard
