We are an engineering recruitment business partnering with a renowned organisation that specialises in front-end, underbody, and ejector cylinders, waste handling equipment, and custom hydraulic kit solutions.

Responsibilities: As a Paint Sprayer, you will play a crucial role in the production process, working on a continuous flow automated line. Your responsibilities will include:

• Understanding and implementing Phosphate Pre-treat processes.
• Working with heavy products and painting tubular items.
• Fixturing and hanging products on the production line.
• Conducting product preparation tasks such as masking and surface cleaning.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Experience in using 2 pack epoxy paint and single pack primer paint.
• The ability to apply finishing coats to a high automotive standard.
• Proficiency in wet film thickness testing (WFT) and dry film thickness testing (DFT).
• Familiarity with cross-hatch adhesion testing.

Working Pattern:

• 37 hours per week on a rotating 2-shift system (Monday to Thursday: 6 am – 2 pm, 2 pm – 10 pm; Fridays: 6 am – 12.40 pm, 12.35 pm – 7.15 pm).
