The Recruitment Co. is currently recruiting for a Process Analyst to join our clients growing team based in the Llanelli area.

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £35,000p.a

Hours of work: Days: 37 hours per week.

Qualifications:

  • HNC in Mechanical /Production Engineering / IT or relevant discipline – Minimum

Key Requirements:

  • Advanced level of Excel user skills & & Utilise data for Forecasting/ Manning/Capacity/Budget Evaluation
  • Presenting information through Power BI reports, & Internal softwares
  • Ability to take ownership and develop competency in software programs such as Captor, Power BI and Simulation tools
  • Ability to lead improvement activities, managing and motivating the projects team to achieve the required outcomes
  • Showing the direct value of PowerBI and related analytics to improve business performance

Knowledge / Experience:

  • Experience in a similar role is advantageous
  • Lean – “Thinking Way”- Process Flow/Process Layout/ Logistics (Wastes, Pull System, Continuous Flow, Takt)
  • Experience of Time Study and recording of Data, calculating manning ,Capacity & OEE
  • High level user of softwares and data analysis

Key Tasks / Responsibilities:

  • Data Recording – Collating study data, issuing standard time to relevant personnel, archive for Ref and feed into Manning and capacity system.
  • Develop and update technical documentation
  • Use simulation software to identify and prioritise improvement activities/s risk to business
  • Support & Introduce Power BI systems and Processes
  • Continuous Improvement Activities: Participating and leading projects for cost saving, H&S and general business needs
  • Electronic Customer Capacity Calculations for NPI and ongoing projects. Capacity studies for potential new business
  • Support delivery of Monthly & Long Term Industrial KPI’s for Plant & Group. Forecasting & Manning
  • Process Layout Planning of NPI or Enabling moves
  • OEE Analysis / IE Calculations / Data Modelling
  • Change management support
  • IMDS
  • General Project requests from Senior management

Aptitude:

  • Planning / Organisational / and Team building skills
  • Numeracy / Data Interpretation and Reasoning
  • Analytical Thinking with attention to detail
