Monday to Thursday 8.15 am until 5pm, Friday 8.15am until 4.15pm – 38 Hours per week
Our long established client based in Daventry, Northants are looking to recruit a temporary Production Administrator. This is a varied and diverse position working in an ever changing environment.
The role:
Our client are looking for someone who will timely and accurately record data onto their in-house IT system, manually and electronically recording goods in information.Creating despatch notes and stock reports as well as being required to question and investigate variances in stock levels.
Additionally you will generate weekly,monthly and adhoc reports for the management team via a combination of downloaded data and Excel.You will need to follow set procedures.The environment is changing daily, weekly and monthly,which you must quickly and easily adapt to .You will work mainly on your own but you will have to regularly communicate face to face at all levels internally and electronically. To be successful you will need to have an inquisitive and analytical mind but still be happy to carry out routine duties.
Production Administrator Duties
Goods in responsibilities
- Print tanker procedures as required, for relevant PO
- Record all PO goods in for all locations
- Book in received goods
- Investigate variances in stock levels
- Complete and file tanker SOP
- Book in and advise label team of labels received
- Correct stock on system
- Record all returns received and booked on the system
Despatch Responsibilities
- Generate address labels as required
- For stock orders generate Production Report, then send to relevant customer
- Ensure orders have a Dangerous Goods note,commercial invoice or CMR etc if required
- Chase Supervisors/filling lines for work orders
- Pull together stock transfer loads, arrange transport, generate relevant paperwork and move stock on system
- Send copies of specialist paperwork to the customer as required
- Download photos from camera’s to ensure a record of vehicle loading
- Creating despatch notes and stock reports.
- Advise logistics if stock has not been collected
- Receive despatch labels from logistics, then consolidate with delivery notes on daily transport.
Production Administrator Requirements
- Previous administration experience ideally within a manufacturing/Production environment.
- You must have good attention to detail
- You must have an excellent understanding and use of Microsoft Office word/Excel
- Be able to work independently
- This role requires an independent and investigative personality.
