The Recruitment Co. are looking for Permanent Production Operatives for a company located in Macclesfield.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Production Operative can work in a variety of areas in the factory, contributing to the efficient production of composite doors to a high standard of quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Production Operative can be expected to work on the following tasks, depending on the area of manufacturing they are assigned to:

• Machining – Loading/Unloading CNC Beam Saws and Edgebanders

• Glazing Assembly – Assembling glass into machined composite doors

• Warehousing – Moving pallets of doors using a pallet truck, manual handling of doors, and arranging stock

• Paint Prep – Preparing doors for spray-painting, including masking-off and taping areas of the door

• Paint – Hanging Doors on to the paint line and placing doors on drying racks

• Final Processing – Cleaning doors prior to wrapping and inspecting for defects or damages.

• Wrapping/Packing – Stretch wrapping doors and preparing for despatch

• Be responsible for your safety and that of co-workers by following company guidelines, policies and procedures, maintaining a tidy and organised work environment and escalating any issues that may arise.

• Complete training necessary to undertake a range of tasks in the Production environment.

• Complete work to a high standard, escalate any Quality issues and do not pass sub-standard work on to the next process.

• Ensure the work you undertake is properly reported on the production system (barcode scanning).

MEASURES OF SUCCESS/KPI’s:

• Achieve daily production targets in terms of Output and Quality

• Regular inspections of the working area.

• Line manager feedback regarding output.

• Achievements reported on Training Matrix.

The salary for this role is: £11.85 per hour (£24,648 per annum)

This is a permanent position.

Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
