The purpose of this position is to assemble heatshield components for a large customer contract for an automotive manufacturing company based in Daventry.

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to have experience in the following areas,

• Experience of working in a production environment
• Experience of using hand tools within previous production role
• Will ideally will have some experience of light sheet metal work OR have experience in the use of light power tools on a production line.

Duties will include

• Forming & assembling heatshield materials & components to create the finished product
• Learn & create many different, complex parts to form a finished product – you will likely work on multiple different components to support production as required
• Ensuring accuracy at all times and checking the alignment of parts made to ensure they meet quality standards.

Skills required

• Ability to see and focus small details, parts and components
• Good dexterity will be required to manipulate the small materials
• Very good attention to detail is required
• Self-motivated individuals are preferred as you will sometimes work alone
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to follow instructions & health and safety requirements at all times
