Project Accountant (12 Month FTC)
Salary:
35k-45k + 5% bonus
Location:
Manchester
Working pattern:
Monday to Friday – Hybrid , 3 days in office, 2 work from home
( on site Monday, Wednesday and Thursday )
25 days holidays

It is essential that you are educated to GCSE level including maths and English, have experience within international finance and have EXCEL experience to an intermediate level.
It will be beneficial for you to be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified, and have 1-2 years experience in project accounting and have worked on Oracle.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and support to a variety of finance improvement projects driving improvement in ways of working, the overall control environment, clarity of reporting and the efficiency of the International finance team.
• Manage the Continuous Improvement and IS enhancements project list working closely with the IS business analyst and finance team. Lead the project reviews on a monthly basis with the finance and IS team. Working across the international finance team, projects could have an accounting, fp&a, tax or treasury focus.
• Development of project plans including internal and external resourcing needs. Management of project trackers ensuring on time completion of deliverable.
• Working closely with finance, business and IS teams to deliver IS enhancement projects effectively within finance & accounting. Project selection may be based on corporate requirements for global standardisation of systems or locally identified IS requirements to drive efficiency.
• Assist the integration of any newly acquired businesses.
• Adhoc Financial analysis projects as required to provide valuable insights into P&L and Balance sheet.
