Role: Project Manager
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 30 weeks (possibility of extension)
Hours: 37 per week (Flexible, with no less than 30 hours per week)

Job Description:
Are you an experienced Project Manager ready for your next challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team in Hillsborough. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, maintaining documentation, and upholding governance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation Maintenance: Maintain all project documentation and adhere to established processes and procedures to ensure robust governance.
- Business Case Development: Lead the development of business cases (BCs) in partnership with subject matter experts. These BCs will range in value from approximately £30k to £2m.
- Procurement Oversight: Oversee the procurement of items related to BCs and manage the associated processes, ensuring adherence to good governance principles at every step.
Essential Criteria:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential criteria:
- Diverse Skill Set: Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment with a wide range of skills, including finance, science, and construction.
- Strong Management: Capability to establish robust managerial and oversight procedures.
- Business Case Writing: Proficiency in writing efficient and effective business cases, aligned with Managing Public Money NI.
- Challenge: Capacity to challenge management, peers, and suppliers when necessary.
Desirable Expertise:
While not essential, the following expertise would be desirable for this role:
- Scientific Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with scientific equipment related to agricultural systems.
