Purchase Ledger Clerk
Salary:
£22,000 – £24,000 per annum
Location:
Manchester City Centre
Hours:
08:30-17:00pm (Monday to Friday)
Do you have experience of working within Purchase Ledger or a similar environment? Are you looking for a new role within an established and successful company? The Recruitment Co. are recruiting for one of our key clients in Manchester and this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure all purchase ledger invoices and credit notes are authorised by the appropriate budget holder
- Process supplier invoices and credit notes
- Prepare supplier payment runs on a weekly basis
- Deal with supplier queries
- Reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis
- Ensure that all supplier accounts are settled within our terms
- Reconcile the company credit card statements and post credit card journal on a monthly basis
- Processing Sales Agents’ commission
- Processing staff expenses on a monthly basis
- Monthly Aged Credit review
The Person:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Intermediate Excel.
- Basic numeracy skills.
- Strong team worker
- Ability to work independently
