We are currently recruiting for a full-time Temporary Recruitment Support Officer on behalf of our Public Sector client based in the Armagh area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who has strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work independently in a busy office environment.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers and clients, ensuring all queries are dealt with efficiently and escalated where appropriate.
  • Provide high-quality administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the service area.
  • Input, process, monitor, and validate information accurately and within agreed timescales.
  • Assist with the analysis, monitoring, and reporting of data and statistics.
  • Prepare reports, documents, and correspondence for senior staff as required.
  • Provide routine advice, guidance, and administrative assistance to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Support the development and maintenance of departmental procedures and protocols.
  • Assist with the implementation and improvement of administrative systems and processes.
  • Maintain stationery stock levels and ensure supplies are stored securely.
  • Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service to staff, members of the public, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Essential Criteria

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

  • 5 GCSEs (Grades A–C), including English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent/higher qualification)

OR

  • A minimum of 18 months’ relevant experience in a clerical or administrative role.

In addition, candidates must demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in administration, data entry, Excel, data analysis, and reporting.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other IT systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
