Summary of the position

The Customer Service Administrator will be responsible for our after sales service, dealing with all aspects of customer care, along with maintaining working relationships with both our customer and suppliers.

Duties and Responsibility

  • Answering customer concerns via telephone & email
  • Logging after sales communications onto the computer system
  • Liaising with Colleagues both internal & external to resolve queries/complaints
  • Liaising with warehouse/transport to resolve queries/complaints
  • To confidently manage the complaints process from start to finish ensuring our customers are kept up to date throughout the process
  • Communicating with external inspection companies
  • Communicating with our suppliers to ensure satisfactory outcomes are obtained
  • Raising credit notes to customers along with debit notes to suppliers where applicable
  • Ad hoc tasks within the department including supporting the sales team with answering calls where needed

Skills Required

Accuracy is paramount to the role; the right person will have an attention to detail and be confident in the processes they are following.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proficient typing skills
  • Computer skills, training will be given on our bespoke software packages
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills
  • Organisational abilities
  • Administrative skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive, conscientious and responsible working attitude
  • Accuracy and good attention to detail
  • The ability to focus on tasks taking lengthy periods

The role is permanent full time Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
